This past weekend I ran the Salt Lake City Half Marathon, which is 13.1 miles. It was an amazing experience and I am definitely still recovering from it today. My legs, back, arms and muscles I didn't even know I used when I ran are hurting. It was a great experience! The first 5 miles were so awesome. I ran them all without resting and thought this is gonna be awesome, after that it became a little harder. After mile 1o I wanted to die. My legs were killing and I was so worn out. Then out of nowhere this little guy came running past me and lo an behold it was a full marathon runner who was passing me after he had ran 26 miles. That definitely gave me some motivation and I really wanted to finish in 2 hours and 30 minutes. The last part of the race was brutal being uphill, but I finished in 2 hours and 45 minutes. It wasn't my goal, but there is always next time. It was a great accomplishment and I am proud that I finished. I just want to thank Josh, Jenny(Josh's Mom) and Hailey( Josh's little sis) for being my cheerleaders. They definitely helped me throughout the way.
Super gay face.... I wanted to pass out right here

Wedding
Last weekend, we headed up to Logan for Josh's great friends wedding, Kent Koefed. Josh was a groomsmen and enjoyed being in the line. Josh and I met at Kent's house almost 3 years ago and both have known Kent for awhile. I hope that Kent and his wife are very happy together! After the wedding, we headed over to Tara's house and played cards. Josh especially loves coming up to Logan and playing cards! Everytime we come up he thinks we are going to move back up there( But it's definitely not going to happen, although we love and miss our friends). On Sunday we went to Josh's Aunts baby blessing. She is 46 and just had her 7th child. Bryce was definetely not expected, but has been a great blessing and bundle of joy. He was absolutely adorable. Although we missed the blessing we got to hang out afterwards. I swear we can never be on time.
Can you say slacker?

So it's been a long while since we last posted and We have done so much! First off it was my birthday on March 3rd! It was very low key, but a great time. Josh and I went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse(my favorite) with Josh's Brother Jake and at the time girlfriend Carley who just happenend to have the exact same birthday as me! I love her to death and I hope one day they can get married. We have so much in common, its a little bit freaky. Jenny, Josh's mom also, made us dinner and a yummy yummy better than sex cake. A few days later my sweet grandma passed away on March 7. She was in very poor health and had very little quality of life. It was definitely a bittersweet moment, because I know she is not in pain anymore, but it was hard to say goodbye. It was a great reunion with everyone, but not the best time to meet up. Isn't it sad that the only time you see loved ones is usually at sad occasions. I love my sweet grandpa and I hope that he is doing ok!! After the funeral, on Sunday all my close family came to Josh and I's house and we hosted our first dinner party. We had over 25 people over and It was a great time. I am glad that we are able to have parties and entertain, I just love it! The day before we went out and bought a new couch. I definitely love it although Josh took some convincing. What do you think of the improvement? I have definitely been a decorating queen lately or maybe just a shopaholic. Sometimes I truly think I have addiction haha!
P.S. I hate blogging! It always turns out backwards!
